What is it?
A Passerelle University Diploma (DU) allows asylum seekers, beneficiaries of subsidiary or temporary protection, refugees and stateless persons, to have a better level of French in order to study in France.
This 240-hour "Linguistic and Cultural Integration Program for Students in Exile" offers:

• Support to build your university and professional project in France...

Why is it interesting?
In the DU Passerelle at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, there are 210 hours of French classes. You will have classes during 17.5 every week, from Monday to Friday.
There are also tutoring, cultural activities and personal work.
You will take continuous tests to obtain a University Diploma.
It is also possible to take the DELF-DALF or TCF exams at the end of the course.
During the course, you'll find out all about university in France: what it's like to be a student, how courses and exams are organised, what qualifications and courses are available, how to take notes during lectures and revise outside lectures, how to give presentations, how to prepare for exams, etc.
The French higher education system is complex.
During the course, professionals work with each student individually to help them think through their academic and career plans, depending on what is available.
- Help with writing CVs and cover letters, and with applying for the courses that interest you.
- Tutoring provided by French/French-speaking students for at least 1 hour per week per class.
- Individual interviews depending on your needs.
You will have access to a range of free activities during the course:
- outings to dance, theatre and circus performances
- visits to museums, exhibitions and champagne cellars
- practical arts workshops (choir, slam, plastic arts, etc.).
One afternoon a week is dedicated to these activities
