Where is it?

What is it?
A Passerelle University Diploma (DU) allows asylum seekers, beneficiaries of subsidiary or temporary protection, refugees and stateless people to have a better level of French to study in France.
The DU TREMPLIN offers:
- French courses
- Physical activities
- Cultural activities
- Support in developing your plans to return to education
There are around 40 similar training courses in France. This sheet presents the training at Bordeaux Montaigne University.

Why is it interesting?
In the DU TREMPLIN, there are 384 hours of French lessons.
You will have 20 hours of lessons per week.
You will sit exams in order to obtain a University Diploma.
It is possible to take the DELF at the end of the training.
During the training, you will discover the university in France: what it is to be a student, how courses and exams are organized, what diplomas and training exist, how to take notes during classes and review them outside lectures, make presentations, prepare for exams…
DU TREMPLIN also offers:
- university methodology courses,
- immersion courses in other courses at the university.
The French higher education system is complex.
During the training, you will be able to have support to think about your university and professional project, depending on your possibilities.
The professionals also help you write your CVs and cover letters, and register for the training courses that interest you.
There are also collective workshops led by associations.
You will have access to different activities during DU TREMPLIN:
- presentation and tour of the university campuses,,
- tandem program with other students,
- health workshop,
- outings and visits,
- university sports activities...
