Do civic service in Île-de-France

Updated on il y a 9 mois

What is it?

Civic service missions of 6 to 12 months for young newcomers and beneficiaries of international protection.

These volunteering missions are paid and take place for the service of the community in an association or a public organization, on solidarity projects and in pairs with young French-speaking people.

Some examples of available missions:

LOVE Your Engagement: Discover civic engagement within a promotion of 10 young people

MEnS Network: Promoting access to higher education for exiled people

J'accueille IDF : Support the organization of J'Accueille program - reception of refugees in private homes.

You don't need to have a degree or a job to join!

Why is it interesting?

You are followed throughout the mission by a tutor who can guide you in your professional project after the civic service.
You will have weekly or monthly appointments and quarterly course points.

You can have a job, follow studies or French courses and carry out this civic service mission at the same time.

You will receive a compensation of €609 every month for your commitment.

You work in pairs with another young French-speaker to facilitate your integration into the team.

Civic service makes it possible to develop new skills and build a professional network, to improve one's confidence and self-esteem.

How to do it?

  • Singa Paris: Participate in the professional integration of refugees in Ile-de-France
  • J'accueille Paris: Help run the J'accueille program in Ile-de-France
  • Union of Exiled Students: Promoting access to higher education for exiled people

Or come and meet us every second Thursday of the month from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 50 rue de Montreuil, 75011 Paris.
