What is it?

HOPE (Hébergement Orientation Parcours vers l'Emploi) is a program for the employment and autonomy of refugees.

It is composed of 2 parts:

  • POEC FLE training: with professional and language preparation for trades in construction/services/industry (400 hours, including 70 hours of work placement).

    You will take the Professional Language Competence Diploma (DCL) at the end of the POEC.
  • Professional training: with a professional contract, an interim professional development contract (CDPI) or a work-study program (450 hours in the center / 450 hours in the company).

    You will take the CCP (certificate of professional skills) or a Professional title.

Good to know: This scheme also offers:
- Administrative and social support to solve personal problems (health, mobility, accomodation at the end of the training)
- Support for professional and social integration

Why is it interesting?

Improve your level of French

You will learn professional French. You can then take the language diploma of the DCL (Diploma of language skills).

Get accommodation during the training

For the duration of the program, participants are accommodated at the AFPA centre. At the end of the program, participants can stay in social housing through the help and work of the social guide.

Do qualifying training

After the training, you can take one or more CCP (certificate of professional skills) or a professional title.

Find a job

This course provides training for professions that hire. The companies participating in the HOPE system often present job offers at the end of the training.

Have a salary during the training

During the POEC, the intern will be paid between €500 and €685 per month.

During the second part (professional contract or alternation or CDPI), the participant will receive remuneration between 905€ and 1300€ gross per month.
