Do a health check-up

The health check-up, also called a preventive health examination (EPS), is a free medical appointment to assess your health.
During this appointment, you have the opportunity to:
- take a blood test
- carry out disease screening tests or tests
- see a doctor, a nurse, a dentist
- ask questions about your general health
- have information and advice on your medical situation and your lifestyle
- get help with completing health paperwork (complementary health insurance file, renewal of vital card, declaration from treating physician, etc.).
This appointment is organized every 5 years in a health examination center.
It lasts approximately 2 hours and is open to anyone over 16 years old registered with the general health insurance scheme.

It can sometimes take a long time to get an appointment, but you may be given priority if:
- you do not have a primary care physician (general practitioner who takes care of your daily health) or regular medical monitoring
- you are a beneficiary of RSA and complementary health solidarity
- you have no professional activity or you are a job seeker
- you are disabled.
