Use your personal training account (CPF)

The personal training account (CPF) is an account with a sum of money that allows you to register for training. There are many training courses available all year round, on many subjects, which end with a certificate or diploma. The objective is to learn new professional skills to progress or change jobs.
The personal training account (CPF) is for:
- private and agricultural sector employees
- independent workers ( self-employed , craftsmen, traders, etc.)
- civil servants (civil servants and contract workers) over 18 years of age.
If you are a minor, you are entitled to the CPF:
- from 16 years old if you have a professional activity
- from 15 years old if you are on an apprenticeship contract.
If you are unemployed, you can use your CPF account, if you already had money in it.

To use your CPF, you must go through FranceConnect+ and validate your La Poste Digital Identity, this is a secure method to confirm your identity and avoid scams (see steps 2 and 3).
Never give your personal information to anyone over the phone. If you think you are the victim of a CPF scam, see the last step at the bottom of this sheet.

Depending on your professional situation, you receive money each year on your CPF (except for civil servants who have a CPF calculated in hours). The more you work, the more money you have on your CPF. You can then choose a training course and pay for it with this money (see steps 4 and 5).
