Evaluate and report unsanitary housing conditions
With Adil 21

Adil 21 advisors answer tenants' questions.
They can help you assess the nature and extent of problems in your home (dampness, risk of roof collapse, heating not working, etc.). They also inform you about the rights and obligations of tenants and landlords.
Good to know: Any dwelling that poses a danger to the health or physical safety of people is unsanitary.
If your accommodation shows signs of unsanitary conditions, the Adil 21 advisor can ask the landlord to "bring it in line with norms" by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. If the owner does not react within a reasonable time, the advisor can, through Adil 21, contact the Substandard Housing Committee. You will then be helped to fill out a report form. Please note: the tenant must continue to pay rent during this procedure.
