Why is it interesting?

To facilitate your studies at university

The aim is to include refugee students in the Paris 8 courses that correspond to their previous studies in their countries of origin (i.e human and social sciences, arts, computer science and mathematics) and to direct those who wish to study science to other universities.

Selection criteria

  • To have the status of refugee, subsidiary protection or asylum seeker.
  •  To have followed a university education or to have a diploma that's equivalent to the French baccalaureate (end of secondary studies) in their country of origin.
  •  To be motivated to continue — or start — university studies.

Duration and pace of training

  • Total hourly volume: 480 hours
  •  Weekly volume: 15 hours
  •  3 hours of lessons from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Training content

  • Oral + phonetics workshop: 3 hours (listening comprehension and oral expression)
  •  Written workshop: 3h (written comprehension and written expression)
  •  Grammar + general language lessons: 6 hours (2 lessons)
  •  Socio-historical-cultural workshop: 3h
