Where is it?
Participate in outings with refugees
What is it?
The Ligue de l'enseignement de l'Isère offers sports and cultural activities to refugees. We organise one-off outings to museums, the cinema or the mountains. The League also works on the creation of cultural or sports workshops on the long term with weekly sessions (dance workshop, comic workshop, street art workshop, music workshop). You too can participate as a volunteer!
Why is it interesting?
Promote the reception and integration of refugees through access to sport and culture, emphasizing the encounter with the host society.
The aim is to offer participants time to relax and disconnect from their daily lives, which are punctuated by administrative procedures, and to encourage integration by practising the language and discovering the sports, cultural and heritage activities of the town where they have settled.
These activities are always accompanied by the League and the social relays to foster relationships of trust outside of social support time. This also benefits the social workers.
How to do it?
The Ligue needs volunteers to accompany the outings.
