Why is it interesting?
Building your professional project
We assess with each beneficiary their professional experience, identified needs and professional aspirations, as well as the obstacles to employment. The first step is to assess the needs and objectives of each beneficiary, and to orient them accordingly.
We offer you vocational or language training offers or both
For people who don't want to get a job or can't get it directly, we can help you find:
- Language training: we direct you to training associations or organizations that offer French as a foreign language (FLE) courses in Marseille.
- Apprenticeship in the kitchen: we can direct people who want to obtain apprenticeship to the Public Employment Services in Marseille or in the Bouches du Rhône region, as well as to other, more suitable training.
Additional workshops (CV, employment law, etc.)
Within the framework of this programme, we are organising various modules/workshops that will reinforce our support on various subjects: CV writing, the creation of a self-employed status, sustainable food and seasonality, employment law, mock interviews, first aid, etc.
Individual coaching
Each beneficiary of the programme will have access to individual support for 2 hours per month for one year (12 appointments in total). The objective is to be able to address with them all the social obstacles peripheral to employment, in particular access to and maintenance of housing or accommodation, but also access to social rights, access to health, administrative procedures, help with childcare, mobility, etc.
Get help with your job search
Beneficiaries can be recruited on permanent or fixed-term contracts or on work-study contracts, in traditional employment, on integration sites or in SIAEs. Job dating, as well as PMSMP periods (proposed periods of immersion in a professional environment, particularly in structures for integration through economic activity) may be organised with recruiters from the traditional catering industry or collective catering. Refugee Food will also mobilise its network of restaurant owners and catering groups to facilitate access to job offers.
Good to know: Refugee Food will also be able to contact various structures such as entrepreneur incubators, or directly with third places and catering establishments in Marseille looking for entrepreneur / chef profiles.
