Do civil service in Grenoble

with
Coop'R Unis-Cité

Last update21 juil. 2022

What is it?

A commitment to a civic service mission of solidarity within a group of young French and non-French speakers of different origins. From Tuesday to Friday for 8 months.

The Coop'R mission is built around two objectives:

  • Learn to work in a team within an intercultural group and progress in French thanks to FLE courses and ASL (social linguistic workshops) built by French-speaking pairs.
  • Helping others and making themselves useful: the volunteers in teams of 4 (2 non-native speakers & 2 French speakers) intervene in support of partners in the territory each week with the same audience. For example, they will have to lead workshops with the elderly, or even offer playtime with non-French speaking children.

This project experience will allow you to gain self-confidence, to discover different environments but also to better understand teamwork.

Integrating Unis-cité in civic service is a collective experience rich in encounters and discoveries.

Good to know: To participate in this program, you must be between 18 and 25 years old, or up to 30 years old for people with disabilities.
