What is it?

The PRIR 63 programme is aimed at anyone who has obtained refugee status or subsidiary protection. It is sufficient to have obtained this international protection in the Puy-de-Dôme for less than a year and to be living there (the letter of the OFPRA or CNDA decision is proof of this).

The programme offers comprehensive, specialised, individualised and personalised support. Thanks to public, private and institutional partners, PRIR 63 offers socio-administrative support (opening of rights) as well as access to housing and employment/training in the department.

Why is it interesting?

A team of professionals working with partners and interpreters

The PRIR 63 team is composed of professionals in social support, housing and access to employment/training, specialized in the support of refugees and occasionally mobilizing interpreters to facilitate the understanding of the procedures.

The PRIR 63 brings together institutional partners, partners specializing in the care of refugees and all of the common law actors involved in the sectors of employment, training, accommodation and housing.

Support to access housing

PRIR 63 helps refugees access their first independent housing:

  • Support in finding accomodation: specific preparation (individual and collective) on the reality of housing in France and information on the rights and duties of tenants.
  • Individualized support for the installation in the new housing.
  • Support to maintain the accommodation.
  • In parallel, other temporary solutions are tried. (Example: social residence, youth housing, rental intermediation, rental, temporary housing allowance, shared accommodation...)

Get help to find a job

  • Support towards employment: assessment, construction of a professional project, job search techniques, preparation for interviews, meetings with employers, etc.
  • Support towards linguistic and/or professional training: building a training path and orientation, training adapted to the workstation, engineering support for the creation of specific training not covered by common law, etc.
  • Support for job retention: support for the person during the contract or training period, for example, in conjunction with the employer or the training organization.

Get help with documents and procedures

  • Opening and maintenance of rights;
  • Specific procedures related to international protection (OFPRA, OFII, Prefecture, CAF link, etc.).
