What is it?
The FLEURA center at Clermont Auvergne University offers University Diplomas for refugees with an academic project.
As part of this training, students take courses in general French, but also in French for Academia (methodology classes). They are supported in their academic project by people specialising in orientation and integration.
Cultural activities are also organised with university students to facilitate integration
Who is it for?
Refugee students holding a secondary school diploma and presenting a university project (resuming studies that they started in their country of origin or in a transit countrie or registrating for the first time at university).

Why is it interesting?
A university degree recognised in most French universities
The 'Gateway' DU has been validated by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It can give access, under certain conditions, to CROUS (student welfare office) accommodation and a study grant.
Preparation for entry to French university
- French courses specific to university preparation: methodology, French for science, business, literature...
- Support for the building of a university project and registration for a bachelor's or master's degree
Training accessible over several semesters
Each semester allows you to validate a level of French. You can follow the preparation for level B1 over one semester, then that for level B2 over the following semester and thus reach level C1.
Sociocultural activities
You can participate in different activities throughout the semester (theatre, music, sports activities). These activities take place with students from different departments of the university. They help meet students and make new friends.
